Central Telegraph Office Canteen: from Interior Design Project to Equipment Commissioning

Central Telegraph Office Canteen

ServicePro has fulfilled a full range of renovation and modernization works in Central Telegraph Office Canteen. The Canteen is located in the Central Telegraph Office building on Tverskaya Street and is intended for employees and visitors of the institution. Besides a kitchen area and a 50-seat dining hall the Canteen comprises a small coffee shop where you can always order refreshments as well as have coffee or tee with pastry.

When elaborating the interior design project and selecting equipment the choice was made in favor of tried-and-true machinery and equipment of mid-range segment. Certainly the project included such items as refrigerated counters, food warmers, tray racks, and a cash register module. The chosen refrigeration cabinets are manufactured by Polair (Russia) and refrigeration tables are produced by HiCold (Russia). Thermal equipment was selected in view of cooking several dishes in large amounts.

This includes the following:

  • 4 burner electric stove — Chuvashtorgtechnika (Russia),
  • Combination surface electric griddle plate — Chuvashtorgtechnika (Russia),
  • Two convection ovens — MBM and Tecnoinox (Italy).

A potato peeling machine and a high-production mincing machine (600 kg per hour) were supplied as well. Both items are manufactured by Torgmash (Belarus). The mincing machine can also be used for sausage making. Pastry is produced by means of planetary mixer (JEJU, Taiwan) and a proofing cabinet (Piron, Italy).

The coffee shop equipment comprises:

  • Chest freezer — Italfrost (Russia),
  • Glass door refrigeration cabinet — Mariholodmash (Russia),
  • Pastry benchtop refrigerated display cabinet — Gastrotehnika (Russia),
  • Super automatic coffee machine with two coffee grinders — Franke (Switzerland).

The Canteen was opened on February 6, 2012.
